The site was developed in the middle of the 19 century. In 1860 the site belonged to the honorary citizen Tarasov and then to his heirs until 1917. According to the projects by Gaselmeyer in 1860-1867 there were built one by one 2 and 3-storeyd wings parallel to the Obvodny Channel embankment, and 3-storeyd main building. The wings were located traditionally - in the quarter. But in the 1871 the new street (Tarasov lane, Egorova str.) was built and the in-quarter-wings occurred to be on the front of the new street.
The main façade of the new residential complex arranged on the Egorova street. The driveways are located in the north and in the south of the building. On the west-side is the fire-wall of the neighbor building and a small public garden.
All the entrances are designed on Egorova street and entrances in the underground parking are designed in the right and left sides of the main façade.
Architectural design of the residential complex is worked out according to the style of 19-20 century environment. The altitude, traditional symmetrical composition, the rhythm of the façade items are close to the historical environment of St. Petersburg. The façade decoration is traditional for the buildings in the 19-20 century - the plaster.
