The project of the seven-storey residential building envisions as many as 80 flats and a two-storey underground parking lot.
The building will go all around the site's perimeter along its outer boundaries, closing to create a secluded inner yard.
The main task set before the architects was to incorporate the design of the new building into the existing, somewhat insular, architectural environment of the ‘Krestovskiy island' city district.
According to the initial design, the main façade and the entrance hall leading into the inner yard shall be facing the Morskoy prospekt. An arch envisioned in the northern façade is going to ensure secure passage into the inner territory both for cars and residents.
The choice of natural stone and decorative brick for the façades' finishing reflects the general aesthetical tendency to apply ecological materials in the city design.
